Amjad Islam Amjad was born in
Sialkot on 4th August 1944. He received his education in Lahore and started
his career as a lecturer in M.A.O. College, Lahore. From 1975-79 he worked
as the director of PTV. A prolific author of Ghazals, nazms and
short-stories, he is the author of more than 40 books. He also wrote the
famous "Waaris" drama series for PTV. |
